About the event

Join us as we formally celebrate Rabbi Mati Kirshenbaum and our commitment to him as a congregation.  Special guests will be flying in from all over the world to recognize Rabbi Mati, a smart and hard-working lover of the Jewish people & Israel.  He has proven to be a man of integrity, compassion and empathy through his meaningful and personal sermons.   We hope you will join us for one or all days of celebration:

Friday, February 2nd

Shabbat services will begin at 6pm, followed by a buffet dinner from Fratallino’s and dessert sponsored by the Men's Club at 7pm. Tisch (traditional informal discussion and singing around drinks – provided) will follow in Room 105– all arewelcome. 

Non-alcoholic beverages provided with dinner.

Members may bring their own wine or beer (if desired) to have with dinner.

There is no fee for Friday night dinner.

Saturday, February 3rd

Shabbat services will run from 9am-12pm and include various guest speakers and musical accompaniment. After kiddish, all are welcome to schmooze & enjoy cheese, veggies, and fruit. Lunch will follow. Tickets for lunch will be $18/Adult and $9/Child. Child care will be provided.

Musical participation includes: Children’s Choir, Cantorial Fellow Gabrielle Newman, Cantor Shannon, Julie Nolte, and concert violinist Michael Sumaggi.

Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.

Members may bring their own wine or beer (if desired) to have with lunch.

Lunch will be catered by Parties by panache featuring a buffet with salmon, perogies, frittatas and salads.

There will be macaroni & cheese for children

Sunday, February 4th

Join Rabbi Mati and his family from 11am-12pm in the Merkaz (TBT Asa building) for a meet and greet brunch. Brunch will include muffins, mimosas, coffee, fruit, and juice. All are welcome! No RSVP needed
