CALLING ALL RV’ERS/CAMPERS
The Lovin’ Levelers is an active Jewish RV Camping Club which originated out of the North Valley Jewish Community Center in the early 1970’s. Many people question the idea yet alone the reality of JEWISH CAMPING versus exquisite hotels. While both are good, remember that in our early Jewish history we camped for 40 years in the desert after leaving Egypt!
Our membership is quite wide ranging from Santa Barbara to Oceanside, including Los Angeles, the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys, Thousand Oaks to Ventura and Seal Beach to Brea. Our group is looking to expand with new members aged 50+. We are a “Traveling Havurah” in RV’s of various sorts, enjoying the company of other Jewish people.
We plan group outings on one long weekend a month within 2-3 hours of Orange County. Our weekend outings include visiting places of interest in each area, gathering around a campfire, playing games, doing crafts and just having fun being together. Furthermore, we include brief but meaningful services and celebrations for Shabbat and Havdalah.
