Giving Tuesday: Round Out Your Year with our Tax-Deductible Donation Options
Updated: Nov 28, 2022

As we near the end of the tax year, you may be looking for some donation opportunities, and Giving Tuesday is a great time to start. Look no further than TBT! Here are some of our vital funds and projects that you can support:
Temple Sustaining Fund
Donate to support all of the behind-the-scenes work that lets you experience the joyful community of TBT.
The Campus Beautification Project: A Jewish community is much more than the sum of its parts, and, just as each small individual adds to the large community vibrancy, each of the small details of our facility adds to the overall beautiful and serene TBT campus. A coat of fresh paint can make all the difference in the world, but we can't do it without your help. Donations to the Campus Beautification Project will help fund

Youth Engagement Funds
Donate to support our youth enrichment programs and to provide need-based scholarships so all children can experience Jewish education and community.

Our Youth Education program is called Chavaya (experience) for a reason. At TBT, we believe in a collaborative, hands-on approach to learning, where each child is encouraged to question, create, play, build kehilah (community) and explore.
TBT’s Chavaya and Ulpan utilize an experiential learning approach designed to engage every child through exploration, reflection and expression. Each lesson introduces children to Jewish values relevant in their everyday lives. In Ulpan, children are exposed to Hebrew through music, t’filah engagement, culture, and conversation.
ECLC:

We don't mean to brag, but our preschool is pretty great. The TBT Early Childhood Learning Center (ECLC) is more than a school. We are a community of parents, children, teachers and staff that come together in creating an enriching experience for our children and providing a safe, nurturing environment for them to grow.
Our “whole child” learning approach encompasses the areas of social, emotional, physical and intellectual development for every child. By using developmentally appropriate, hands-on, playful learning experiences we nurture the development of language and motor skills, foster confidence and independent thinking, and teach students to be respectful, empathic and think of others around them. Our teachers and staff are committed to taking a personal approach to every parent and child, creating an environment that instills confidence and enthusiasm for learning.

Gesher is TBT’s response to many families that can’t access a Jewish Day School, but want to provide high quality Jewish education to their children.
Our program provides children and their families with a community environment that gives them a home-away-from-home every afternoon. Through a warm and engaging atmosphere, children learn about their personal relationship with Judaism and acts of loving-kindness, begin to learn the aleph-bet, get homework help, and stay connected to their Temple community. We offer enrichment activities that support math, reading, and writing in addition to Judaism, science, sports, art, and music.

We started a theatre company! The Hilltop Players' first production Imagine is premiering this February. Our young thespians are working hard to make a beautiful show, and they need your support. From costumes to lights, theatre is a team effort that you can join too.
Hilltop Players is special because our aim is to be run by the kids for the kids. We hope to get some incredible teen leaders to run all the shows themselves, gaining leadership experience, and realizing their artistic visions all in the context of Jewish community.
Music Fund
Donate to support keeping music in our practice.
Cantors, scores, musicians, instruments: Our music fund helps us keep joyful music as a primary component of our practice at TBT. Musical expression of Jewish values has been a part of our history for thousands of years, and we aim to keep it that way.
Rabbi's Discretionary Fund
Empower our lead rabbi to support special projects, outside organizations, or someone in need.
Tzedakah Fund
Tikkun Olam (repairing the world) is one of the core philosophies of Judaism. Help us engage in socioeconomic, environmental, and community justice.
Rabbi Emeritus Asa Z''L Education Fund
Here at TBT, we don't believe that Jewish education ends at your B'nei Mitzvah. Support our lifelong learning initiative through the Rabbi Emeritus Asa Z"L Education Fund.
Any gift, big or small, supports our mission to be an affirming Jewish space full of community, wisdom, spirituality, and Tikkun Olam.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
And Rabbi Elazar said: Anyone who performs charity and justice is considered as though they filled the whole world in its entirety with kindness, as it is stated: “He loves charity and justice; the earth is full of the kindness of the Lord.” (Talmud: Sukkah 49b)
